PADI Open Water Diver (10 yrs+) R3299

Take your first steps into the underwater world with the world's most widely recognized and popular course - the PADI Open Water Diver Course. No prior scuba diving experience is needed but you'll need adequate swimming skills as well as being in good physical health. The minimum age for this course is 10 years.

With warm water and great visibility all year round Sodwana Bay is perfect for new divers as well as more experienced ones.

Ponta do Ouro

MozambiquePonta do Ouro

A rustic dive town located a few kilometers into Mozambique from the Kosi Bay border post, Ponta Do Ouro boasts warm water, between 20-26 °C, and dive sites that cater for all levels of divers with depths varying from 10m to 40m. The reefs are home to abundant coral life and literally hundreds of species of fish ranging from macro life all the way up to and included whale sharks.

Aliwal Shoal

South AfricaAliwal Shoal

Aliwal Shoal lies 3 to 5 kms off the coast of Umkomaas, south of Durban. Home to many different fish species with warm waters that often provide great visibility the Aliwal Shoal caters for reef as well as wreck diving. The baited shark dive is one of the few places in the wolrd where a diver can interact up close, without a cage, with a variety of sharks, including the Tiger Shark.

Easy launches from Vetch's Pier, just outside Ushaka Marine World, along with a variety of reefs and wrecks to choose from makes Durban an attractive dive destination. If the sea isn't cooperating on the day there is always the option to go diving in the aquarium.
